iFIT - Bait and Switch with Extra "Tax"
I agreed to $9 a month for the service contract for iFit for my Tour de France bike. When I got my statement from the transaction I was charged $15 + Tax.
I asked their customer service and they stated it was a price increase and it was normal, even though it was NOT the price I agreed to. Now the recurring monthly charges are $15 + $1.17 in tax. I am not a rocket scientist but I am an Attorney and I know that tax is generally not collected for services. Not to mention the fact that the iFit portion of my bike barely qualifies as working.
This company has so much work to do to get a quality product to warrant the expense of $15 a month.
My gym membership is not much more than that. TOTAL RIPOFF and their customer service is a joke.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $40.
Preferred solution: I would like a price reduction from the insane $15 a month, a refund of the extra money which I have paid over and above the $9 I originally agreed to and the improperly collected taxes. Plus something for my inconvenience this service barely works. .
