iFIT

I've been using iFIT for years now, and overall, I think the integrations are solid. The touchscreen on the machine is clear, and the workouts are easy to follow.

I feel like the price of the membership is getting a little out of control, but that is my opinion. I appreciate the ability to try different global routes and trainer-led sessions; having a new place to explore every day definitely keeps things interesting. I do like the new layout and the extra apps (like Netflix), but I'd really love to see YouTube or Audible added in the future. The tracking and metrics are accurate, and syncing with my account was a breeze.

Using the iFIT heart rate monitor expands the experience. The biggest gripe is that they are making it harder and harder to use the equipment without an iFIT membership or having to log in to use the equipment. I would like more pre-programmed workouts and ways to quickly use the equipment as a just jump on and go type of equipment. Overall, I think iFIT does a good job motivating me to keep moving, as well as keeping my interest in the workouts that are on the equipment.

With that being said, there's still room for improvement. This is an incentivized review.

I have used ifit for a few broken years. They have changed quite a bit in that time.

There are features/incentives they used to do that i really enjoyed. I used to feel like there was a lot of external motivation to get my workouts in which helped get me in the gym more.

That being said, I feel they have tried to replace what was lost for various reasons and try to keep customers happy. I still enjoy the variety of workouts and platforms i can experience them in (ifit machine, phone/tablet, roku).

I feel there are so many new places to "travel" and new trainers to explore compared to the last time i subscribed to the platform. It's worth it to me to have such a variety in my home.

My spouse and I purchased an IFit Treadmill from the treadmill factory in February. The machine arrive, we put together the machine following the directions and the machine skipped and stuttered.

Upon trouble shooting using their website (fixing the belt, etc.) we decided to go through their support department (upon completing the warranty activation). It took us 10 days to get to someone who didn't tell us our warranty had expired (despite our countless explanations saying

"we've had our machine for four days- that's the shortest warranty of a $2,000 machine we've ever heard of"). Finally, we were told a Tech was going to come to our home upon submission of videos and photos. The Tech has come THREE TIMES and has ordered parts twice, the first time to review what needed to be done, second time following the parts arrival (which they did not fix it) and that time he advised whomever his superior is that this machine will not work and that parts will not do.

The motor (which runs the belt to support the tread) is welded on incorrectly. The tech once again followed protocol and ordered a new base, we then waited for the part, he arrive and lo and behold, it was bent in the package! The tech then indicated we should get a new machine. Now, for the last 3 months we have been trying to do so.

I personally have been on the phone with customer service (while driving) whereas they are able to pull the account but need a "model number" despite reading all the notes? What type of CRM software is implemented. I also asked "as a customer, I want to better understand if I should adjust my expectations from your company, seeing as we've following protocol, have had a machine that has never worked and it is sitting here for 3 months. What should I lower them to?" The person said (as always) this is not there goal and their objective is to deliver a working machine...welp...here we are.

After countless follow-ups and apparently "higher-ups", they are out of the base...need to manufacture a new one, then send it and then get a tech.

All to the tune of another 4-5 weeks? I am planning on taking this to news outlets as well as this is absolutely abysmal customer service for a company who told me to not lower my expectations, who claims to be "always moving you forward" on their website, and indicates their mission to be "improve your fitness and well-being." Truly shameful customer service...
